Same Day Edits are always such an adrenaline rush for the Russell John Films Team. Filming and editing throughout the day to have a finished highlight film to present at the reception can seem like a daunting task at first, but it is always worth it in the end. All the stress we have felt throughout the day just melts away when we see the looks on the bride and groom's faces as they watch their film. Hearing the laughter and cheers from their family and friends as they watch the film makes us proud to be wedding filmmakers. SDE's (as we like to call them) are probably the most challenging wedding films we create, but definitely the most rewarding! It also helps when you are working with such a sweet couple like Lindsay and Jonathan. Probably my favorite part of the day was when they opened their gifts from each other. They put so much thought into each other's gifts and wrote such lovely words to each other. Brings a little tear to your eye as you watch it, doesn't it?
