Ankita & Hassan
Ankita & Hassan-Cinematic Highlight from Russell John Films on Vimeo.
A fusion of three cultures created one beautiful wedding day for Ankita and Hassan on July 18, 2016. The celebration included Pakistani, Indian and American nuptial traditions.
The elaborate and meaningful proposal - July 18th holds special meaning for the couple not only because it is their wedding date, but also because it is the day Hassan proposed to Ankita a year earlier. Hassan put together an elaborate plan to get Ankita to meet him at Millennium Park in Chicago. She was sent on a scavenger hunt that lead her to get her nails done and a beautiful outfit for the occasion. On her way to the park she watched a 40 minute video of their family members all over the world telling her to say yes. Once she arrived to the park they were surrounded by family and a guitarist playing their favorite song. Hassan got down on one knee and Ankita said yes!
Celebrations began at Bombay Restaurant, a very popular venue in San Diego.
Guests were treated to a gorgeous reception which included a presentation of Ankita and Hassan's memories together.
The reception incorporated many Indian traditions. It was a joyous occasion!
The ceremony that followed took place at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club. The couple shared a special first look before their vows.
During the ceremony the couple released two white doves. It was a true symbol of love and a beautiful moment for all who experienced it.
The reception featured gorgeous decor. It was the perfect scenery for Ankita and Hasssan to celebrate their marriage with family and friends.
A big thank you to Ankita and Hassan for inviting us to be a part of such a gorgeous wedding celebration. We wish you many years of love and happiness!
